Are You Ready to Meet the Challenge?
Meet the Challenge, a Mulberry Arts initiative, empowers under-resourced youth by providing one-to-one mentoring with professional artists, art workshops, exposure to entrepreneurship and careers in art and opportunities to develop, present, and sell artwork.
How the Program Works
We locate young talent, pair them with mentors and foster development in their chosen artistic discipline
Student and mentor determine a fitting challenge and spend time working towards accomplishing that goal
We then use the art created in that challenge to grow the artist’s audience and help them become entrepreneurs by creating a product or hosting an event

Mulberry Art Gallery fosters connections with Black artists, artists of color, and artists historically underrepresented in regional venues. Mulberry aims to serve as a site for innovative creative exploration that will change that narrative and amplify these voices.
